Explore beautiful tropical beaches on this full-day catamaran trip from Key West to Dry Tortugas National Park. The Dry Tortugas islands were discovered by Ponce De Leon in 1513; he sighted more than 100 sea turtles swimming in the seas surrounding the seven islands. Fort Jefferson, located on one of the islands, was initially designed to serve as a defense for the United States back in 1812. Today, you can relive the history of these islands and take in their beautiful scenery by voyaging on a luxury catamaran from Key West.

Great time!

This was a great tour! Well worth the price and 2.5 hour ferry ride each way. Breakfast and lunch were sufficient and a nice selection for bar and snacks. Crew was great!
Great day out

Took the Yankee freedom ferry to spend the day out at Dry Tortugas. The captain and crew did a great job getting us there through choppy seas and our guide taught us a great deal about Fort Jefferson, the park and its history. Amazing experience, highly recommended!
Great Trip, worth every penny

We’ve been coming to the Keys for 7 years and this was the year we visited the Dry Tortugas. What a beautiful place. The water is gorgeous, the fort holds so much history not only for Florida but the entire country! The ferry ride out was wonderful. We saw a huge turtle and many dolphins, worth the long ride there and back.
Take a light jacket as it can be chilly in the ferry. Maybe bring snacks or your own breakfast as we got a bagel…it was fine but a snack would have helped.
The water and coffee all day was awesome.
Hollywood, you made the trip man. Thank you for your knowledge, passion and excitement for what you do.

We traveled to the Dry Tortugas NP on the Yankee Freedom ferry. It was a wonderful, bucket list experience! The tickets are pricey and sell
out quickly. We purchased our tickets four months in advance. The crew (Carrie, Kim and others) were wonderful - fun, attentive and professional. We felt safe and cared-for the entire time.
The boat ride is about two hours each way. Breakfast (bagel, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee) and lunch (sub sandwiches, chips, cookie, drink) are included. There is a galley with a great cook (Kim) that was able to make great vegan and gluten-free alternatives. The galley is open during the return trip for reasonably priced drinks and snacks.
At Dry Tortugas, we joined the tour guide for a 20 minute talk about the history of the park. It was fascinating! She does an additional hour tour after. We toured the fort on our own and snorkeled. Due to rough waters, we didn’t see a lot in the water - but still a great experience. Snorkeling equipment is available to borrow - high quality and very clean. There are salt water hoses and fresh-water outdoor showers to rinse off sand and saltwater, as well as changing rooms.
Our return trip to Key West was challenging. The waters we exceptionally rough and many people has motion sickness issues. Highly recommend using Dramamine (even if you don’t think you need it). The crew handled the rough seas and everyone’s motion sickness in a professional and gracious manner. Make certain to bring sunscreen, water and Dramamine!
Too expensive for what...

Too expensive for what you got. Inside of boat was freezing.
Late leaving because they waited for late passengers. We missed the sunset celebration because of this. When you say leaving at 2:45 - leave at 2:45!
Misleading title

This is not a catamaran tour as the title states…. It is the standard ferry to the island. Extremely disappointed in the incorrect marketing.
